I have a new obsession, the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Upon high acclaim from some friends I am in the middle of season two and have been very pleased. Luckily, I have two friends who share in my obsession even lending me their ears as I talk at length of the many ways Buffy is changing my life.

If I ever needed another reason to watch the show it came from my supervisor from work who stated that she wants her children to watch the show for its feminist values, strong and independent woman lead role and for the anit-status quo gender roles.

The only downside is that I watch about 4 episodes a day....and I feel like hitting the crap out of men and vampires. That can't be normal right?
